Ebara Group has been extending its range and expanding its scale of business operations over 100 years since its founding as a pump manufacturer and has evolved to become an industrial machinery manufacturer. Growth targets that call for a “sales amount of at least 700 billion yen” and a “consolidated operating income ratio of at least 10%” have been established and our intention is to achieve them by the first half of the 2020s, in order to develop our business operations on a global scale and to sustain growth for another 100 years to come.

Such figures cannot be attained merely by sustaining current conditions and managing our business to follow precedence. It is essential that the entire corporate organization whole-heartedly takes on board the stance of “facing competition and taking on challenges to achieve success at all times”.

I have myself been a part of multiple projects that required turning the status quo on its head such as, developing overseas markets from scratch to expand our business or coping with the sudden appreciation of the yen through unprecedented collaboration with overseas companies, and so on; by taking these challenges head-on I was able to succeed in achieving personal growth in addition to overcoming obstacles to business growth. Similar accomplishments are certainly achievable for Ebara Group in the future.

We will continue to produce results by braving the unknown and undertaking new challenges, and will continue to supply products and solutions that exceed the expectations and imaginations of our customers.

The comma between "Ahead" and "Beyond" is designed as pushing straight forward and bursting with vitality to show our stance of keeping changing dynamically towards the future, and the crimson color represents "passion" and “bond" with our customers. The refreshing blue used in the letters depicts "intellect" created through collaboration of diversity and "youthful spirit" up to challenges all the time.
