We are currently using a single-seal type mechanical seal. We would like to make improvements to minimize the leakage amount of the handled liquid to the air as a safety measure, so can you suggest any measures to address this?
Using a tandem-type mechanical seal will result in a double seal structure, which will make it possible to further reduce the amount of leakage to the atmosphere.
Also, installing ancillary equipment (reservoir tanks) at the same time will make it possible to detect liquid leakage, so the pump can be stopped safely before large-scale problems occur.
