Work responsibilities

I use data to support corporate/business transformation and decision-making in the fields of manufacturing and after-sales service areas of our business divisions. Instead of immediately applying mathematical models or AI to data-related issues, I strive to organize processes and be aware of the nature of the issues. It is also about looking at things from a bird's-eye perspective to achieve total optimization rather than partial optimization. This can also be seen as thinking from the perspective of various stakeholders.

Skill development and sharing expertise with other employees

I acquired knowledge related to data science studying on my own, mainly using reference books and online educational materials, depending on my work needs. On the other hand, when it comes to how to solve problems and expertise, I work with my team members on a daily basis to improve our skills. We also share knowledge and application examples relating to AI and data science through our internal portal site and study groups.

Future goals & message to young people

As quantitative decisions based on data will be necessary in various scenarios in the future, I would like to contribute to examining how to utilize data and the processes involved. As Japan's working population is sure to decline, the demand for cooperation with AI and the human resources who advance it will increase. I think that human resources who can combine AI with skills and knowledge from other fields will be at the cutting edge. Join us to learn about a wide range of fields and contribute meaningfully to new advancements!
