(Assembly Technology)

The work I am in charge of
We conduct assembly testing and painting of custom pumps, as well as logistics management within the Futtsu Plant. The motivation of the job is the dynamic monozukuri of such large products. That's it. Even for products of the same model, there is a big difference in procedures including safety between small and large products.
Changes and evolutions from the past in the monozukuri (manufacturing) field
Operational efficiency has been improved through digitization. Things like procedures and assembly quality check sheets are being digitized. We have also promoted initiatives to pass on skills by converting tacit knowledge such as the experiences and thoughts of craftsmen into data. Through efficient instruction, what would take ten years to learn is learned in about two years.
What I want to do in future, and my message to young people
Manufacturing is an industry that needs to be responsive for change. I want young people to fully understand this point to evolve every day. Personally, I would like to take on the challenge of making our plants more automated and unmanned, thereby adding value to our products, meanwhile improving our quality control. My mission is to create that structure.
