[Report 2] Response to the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake


We would like to express our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake, which occurred on the evening of July 28, 2026.

We are providing an update on the status of our operations following the earthquake as follows.

Across all our sites, we have confirmed the safety of all employees and verified that there is no major damage to our buildings or equipment.

At our Kumamoto Plant, production lines were immediately stopped after the earthquake yesterday evening to ensure employee safety and perform safety inspections of the buildings and equipment. Operations remained suspended today to conduct further detailed inspections inside the plant. As the safety of the facility has been fully verified, we will resume normal operations tomorrow, July 30.

We are continuing to assess the impact on our suppliers.

Location: 4000-1 Koei, Nankan-machi, Tamana-gun, Kumamoto 861-0814
Main Operations: Manufacture of semiconductor manufacturing equipment (CMP systems, etc.), and service & support for dry vacuum pumps
