Hydrogen

Production, Transport, and Use
In the area of production, hydrogen is produced through the gasification of waste plastic and turquoise hydrogen is produced by separating hydrogen and carbon from methane. In the area of transport, we are developing liquid hydrogen pumps and hydrogen compressors, which are critical for large-scale supply chains. In the area of end-use, we are working on a wide range of hydrogen market fields, such as power generation, industry, mobility, and construction, hydrogen supply equipment for refueling stations, hydrogen-fired absorption chillers and heaters, and fuel supply pumps for hydrogen-powered aircraft.

Aerospace

As the commercial use of outer space expands, the development of new transportation infrastructure connecting the ground and outer space, which serves as the foundation for this development, is rapidly accelerating, led by private companies. In order to contribute to creating an abundant and ever-evolving lifestyle as set forth in our long-term vision, E-Vision 2030, we have started the development of rocket components aiming at the full-scale launch of our aerospace business in the future.

Promoting the development of a state-of-the-art electric pumps for rocket engines

Considered one of the most challenging rocket technologies, the pump in the engine plays an important role as the heart that pumps fuel and oxidizer to the combustion chamber. By electrifying the engine pump, we aim to provide new value, such as maintainability and manageability of the engine and are working on development toward full-scale commercialization.

Eco/GX

Common global issues such as global warming, intensified natural disasters, and resource depletion are becoming more serious each year.

As the world's population grows, EBARA is aiming to supply water to 600 million people around the globe. In response to global water shortage issues and the development of water infrastructure in emerging countries, we are establishing a business model for a sustainable water supply to address the needs of each country.

Marine

EBARA is focusing on food problems associated with an increase in demand for fishery resources caused by global population growth and the decrease in natural fish catches due to climate change. To address these marine issues, we are engaged in the development of a fully closed, land-based aquaculture system based on the concept of "resting the sea". Utilizing our technologies, such as fluid and thermal control, we aspire to establish a sustainable, safe, and secure system with a focus on taste that enables a food supply that satisfies both quality and quantity.

Bio

EBARA is working to create new businesses with our strengths in thermal fluid technology and system engineering technology, to be applied in fields that include regenerative medicine and other medical devices, as well as cell agriculture and decarbonized resources. We are collaborating with external partners to advance the development of cutting-edge fields to be applied in the field of biotechnology.
