Work Responsibilities
I am in charge of quality assurance for dry vacuum pumps . Dry vacuum pumps are non-contact vacuum pumps that do not use oil or liquid for sealing and are ancillary products of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. They are essential for semiconductor manufacturing as they provide a clean vacuum without backflow or diffusion of water or oil. In this regard, I mainly conduct "external complaint handling" to investigate the causes and countermeasures when there are quality nonconformities in shipped products, as well as "failure cost analysis" to aggregate all quality nonconformities that occur with dry vacuum pumps and the associated costs, examining where the issues lie and what is needed to resolve them.
Daily Motivation and How to Acquire Skills
It is very rewarding to gain a wide range of knowledge while contributing to the company and society through my work. This work enables me to develop a wide range of capabilities, including technical expertise, communication skills, and management capabilities. Additionally, the ability to work globally is an attractive aspect of this workplace. Currently, I am collaborating with bases in the United States and Singapore, holding meetings with local members almost every week. To ensure smooth communication, I am also studying English daily.
Future aspirations and messages for the next generation
Rather than merely reacting to quality nonconformities after they occur, I want to place greater emphasis on proactive prevention activities. I also would like to promote DX in the quality department and implement more innovative measures. Also, as a company, we hope to achieve the number one global market share in semiconductor auxiliary equipment. Having a large share is also a testament to our contribution to society. We, in the quality department at Ebara, consider ourselves part of supporting the world's cutting-edge technology and part of maintaining "trust" in our products. The uncompromising pursuit of quality is the driving force behind the EBARA brand and the future of technology. I sincerely hope to have the opportunity to work together with young people.
