Development and Design

Work Responsibilities
I am in charge of the design and construction of product testing and development centers for liquid hydrogen pumps and other products. Specifically, the person in charge of machinery and processes is responsible for the overall process, arrangement and piping, and selection and arrangement of equipment. Originally, I worked in the plant engineering industry. However, I changed jobs and became my current position because I wanted to work on hydrogen, which is attracting attention as a next-generation energy, I wanted to be involved in plant design and construction, and I wanted to participate in projects from the standpoint of operating facilities.
Regarding Daily Motivation and How to Acquire Skills
This is the world's first facility capable of conducting actual tests using liquid hydrogen on such a scale. It is a great motivation to be involved in the design and construction. I also like EBARA's environment. Although EBARA is a large company, EBARA has a positive culture of taking on challenges, and EBARA hears opinions form young employees and new hires. In addition, in the department where I belong, I think that my supervisor "can't work without fun," and I am able to work in a good environment. Sometimes it's hard, but "I'm glad I was involved in this project!" I think.
Future Aspirations and My Message to Younger Generations
I hope that we can leverage the skills and experience we have learned in the construction of the Testing and Development Center as well as our expertise in the production of hydrogen facilities to expand into a wider range of businesses. I hope that we can resolve a variety of hydrogen-related issues. EBARA plays a role in the hydrogen society, and we want to become a company that is trusted by the outside world, saying "Let's ask EBARA first of all about hydrogen." It is a company that listens to people if they actively give their voice, and an environment in which young people can surely play an active role. Let's work together for a future where the utilization of hydrogen will become a matter of course!
